Muhammad Ibn Yusef as-Sanusi al-Hassani at-Tilimsani
Abu Abd’Allah Muhammad ibn Yusuf as-Sanusi (A.H. 832/ C.E. 1428 / A.H. 895/ C.E. 1490) is an important contributor to the science of Classical Islamic Theology, particularly the Ash’ari creed. Born in the Maghreb in Tilimsan, a city in Algeria, he spent most of his life learning and teaching. His writings are well-regarded and studied and SIIASI is honored to present some of them.
