    Now we pray he recieves the intercession of the Nabi
    Raised his fist and demanded that his people be free
    Told the goverment the Vietnamese never did nothing to me
    Allah forgive our Hero our Champion and give him the highest degree
    May we see you smile with Malcolm, Husayn and Sayidina Ali

    If all the love of Allah was placed in one heart it would be in no other heart but yours
    You showed mercy to your enemies, freed the oppressed, fed the hungry mouths of the poor
    Struck on the ground bleeding from war you prayed for mercy once more
    “Forgive them for they know not what they do” was your plea to the Merciful Lord
    Cast out from paradise deceived by Iblis Adam felt remorse and shame
    Crying to his Lord not knowing what to do then he remembered your Blessed name
    “Oh Allah forgive me by the Rank of Muhammad Rasul Allah”
    He was granted mercy, and reunited with his wife How Precious are you Ta-Ha!
    Searching for the last Prophet Salman the Persian looked to complete his faith
    Kidnapped and enslaved brought against his will sent to a foreign place
    In Madinah he saw the Seal of Ahmad and his Mubarak Face
    Emancipated by the Prophet the Messenger announces Salman is from Ahlul Bayt

    Ya Miftahu Jannah – Ya Mustapha
    Ya Nabiyul Tawbah – Ya Miftahu Rahma
    Ya Rahmatul Al Ameen – Ya Habib Allah

      Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (1/153):
      It is not permissible to supplicate Allaah (du’aa’) by virtue of the Messenger of Allaah or by virtue of any of the Sahaabah or anyone else, or by the life of anyone, because acts of worship are tawqeefi (i.e., we must adhere to what is prescribed in the Qur’aan and Sunnah and not worship Allaah in any way except that which has been prescribed). Beseeching Allaah in the manner described (i.e., Oh Allah forgive me by the Rank of Muhammad Rasul Allah” or “by means of Uthman Fuduye`”) has not been prescribed by Allaah, rather He has commanded His slaves to beseech Him by His names and attributes, by believing in His Oneness, by having faith in Him, and by virtue of one’s righteous deeds – not by virtue of the status of So and so or by his life. So we must limit ourselves to that which Allaah has prescribed. Hence it is known that beseeching Allaah by virtue of the status or life of So and so is an innovation that has been introduced into Islam.

      A recommended scholar said: No one has the right to pride himself before Allaah on the righteousness of his forebears, for their righteousness is not part of his deeds for which he may deserve reward, as in the case of the three people in the cave. They did not beseech Allaah by the righteousness of their forebears, rather they beseeched Allaah by virtue of their own righteous deeds.

      On the authority of the mother of the faithful, ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

      He who innovates something in this matter of ours [Islam] that is not of it will have it rejected [by Allah].
      [Bukhari & Muslim]

      In one version by Muslim it reads:

      He who does an act which we have not commanded, will have it rejected [by Allah].

      The correct and acceptable tawwasul to Allaah is even laid out and put forth clearly in the “GREATEST SURAH” of the Qur’an, i.e., “AL-FAATIHAH – THE OPENING”, Chapter (1):

      First seeking refuge with Allaah from the Shaytaan the outcast

      Then praising Allaah The Lord of Al-‘Aalameen
      Then calling upon Him by His Great Names, i.e., Ar-Rahmaan (Most Gracious) – Ar-Raheem (Most Merciful)
      Then continuing with reciting, ‘Maaliki Yaumid-deen’ – ([Oh!] Master of the day of Judgement
      Then declaring after this correct and sound tawwasul upon ikhlaas (sincerity) to Allaah:
      ‘You alone we worship and You alone we seek help’, and then reciting the best of requests:

      [Oh Allaah!] Guide us to the straight path …

      This is part of the correct Tawwasul and thus one of the best means of drawing close to Allaah is by calling upon Him by His “Great Names”.

      Supplication Allaah, sending salutation upon His Prophet, seeking Allaah’s forgiveness and then beseeching Allaah ones request is all from the correct means of tawassul.

      There are two requirements for an action/deed to be accepted by Allaah:
      1. Sincerity to Allaah
      2. Following of the Messenger

      The Messenger of Allaah never taught his companions to say: “O Allaah, I ask you by the rank of so and so.”

      Ibn al-Qayyim said: “Allah has made devotion of worship to Him alone and following the Sunnah the means of deeds being accepted; if these conditions are not met, then deeds are unacceptable.” (al-Rooh, 1/135)

      When the slave finishes reading the opening chapter in his prayer…

      [اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ – صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّآلِّينَ ]،
      قَالَ اللهُ: هذَا لِعَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ»

      Allah says, `This is for My servant, and My servant shall have what he asked for.’).” Reported by Muslim

        Not for your khariji polemics or waisting people’s time
        You could have easily given your unwanted sad advice
        In the form of a poem that would have at least been nice
        But you made the mistake and entered into our digital hood
        Misreading and misquoting what you thought you understood
        You attempted in your blind folly, to pull off a digital drive by
        Hoping to make a online kill here & a kill there, and then fly
        But your cyber weapon had no bullets nor any gun powder
        And your get away car lacked RAM speed and power
        So now you are stuck here on the zawiyya of SIIASI
        About to get stomped and owned online by all to see
        You should’ve asked yoour slave masters there in Riyadh
        About me, they would have warned you: Dont take that ride!
        But ignorantly you came in Dan Fodio’s digital hood anyway
        Now you about to regret this day with remorse & much dismay

        Who said that “Once an unknown man came to the master of all mankind
        And said: O Messenger of Allah, make supplication for me, for I am blind
        Ask Allah to lift the veil from my eyes and to return to me my sight
        He said to the old blind man in order to increase his faith with insight
        Rise and go away from us, make ablution and pray two sincere rak`ats
        With sincerity of intention and absolute resolve having prayed the rak`ats
        Say: O Allah I beg and ask You, and I direct my soul entirely to You
        By means of Your prophet Muhammad, Nabi’r-Rahma, I beseech You
        O Muhammad! by means of you I direct myself to your Lord – Allah
        That He will remove the thick veil from my sightless sight – O Allah
        Let Muhammad intercede for me with You!” Ibn Hunayf then narrated
        That the old blind man came back seeing clearly and totally elated!
        O Abu Ibrahim, one so blind to inner vision with no clear sound insight
        With one sound prophetic tradition and one sanad I exposed your blight
        And exposed the darkness of your heretical innovation to Allah’s light
        If He wills you will be guided to the Straight Path by His generous might
        By the rank of all those cited in this isnaad that is good, sound and right
        By the truth of the tradition itself which contains profound secrets and light
        And by the secret of the supplication in it which returned the man’s sight
        Which is pure tawassul as clear and sound, clear as day is from night
        So wake up, Abu Ibrahim from your slumber, deep sleep and endless blight
        Never come again to this digital sufi zawiyya seeking an online fight
        Unless you come prepared with clear evidence and proofs that are tight!
        Here I end my poem with salaat on Muhammad and praise of Allah’s might
        On the evidence of how a blind man made tawassul with him & his light
        Was ordered to say: “Yaa Muhammad” and how Allah returned his sight

    The following is a poem from the Rabat manual inspired by Shayhk Abdullahi Dan Fodio’s Manual for social etiquette. When reading the first letter of each line in the poem downward you can see an ayat of the Quran hidden in the poem

    Listen and be careful of mockery and laughter
    One does not know where one will end up in the hereafter
    What you failed to realize while making fun of another
    Elevated and more beloved to Allah maybe the rank of your brother
    Remember not to revere worldly people who are preoccupied with the dunya
    You must realize that having love for the poor is part of the sunna
    One must not ask another for what you yourself can obtain
    Unable to fulfill your request you shouldn’t admonish or blame
    Rest your tongue from advising one who will pay you no heed
    Water and sunlight have no effect on an arrogant seed
    In any case if you find yourself in the company of people
    Note the good that they do and be silent about their evil
    Guard yourself from people like a treasure in a vault
    Too many will expose your private affairs and examine your faults
    Or they demand fairness but they are not fair themselves
    They betray with Ghiba and namima the conversations of hell
    Having to keep their company is misfortune and stress
    Exiting their presence means that you have been blessed
    Be careful outwardly they flatter you to impress
    Evil intentions they hide inwardly strangling you to death
    Looking outwardly they are soft like new clothes off of the rack
    Inwardly they are like wolves waiting to attack
    Evil glances is what they give you behind your back
    Viciously waiting for your downfall and tribulations to stack
    Evaluate and meditate on your choices and friends
    Realize that righteous etiquettes brings about a righteous end

    A POEM ON THE QUALITY THAT MAKES IT EASY FOR THE COMMANDER OF THE FAITHFUL AND OTHERS TO BE FRIENDLY WITH ALL PEOPLE
    (INSPIRED BY SHAYHK UTHMAN DAN FODIO’S BAYAN WUJUB AL HIJRA)

    I say and success is with Allah the creator of All creatures
    I offer this poem as advice to the commanders of the believers
    Taken from the wisdom of the Shehu and the Quranic verse
    “No Creature is there crawling on the earth, No bird flying with wings, but they are like nations like yourselves”
    Allah has confirmed the similarities between us and other creatures
    It’s the characteristics that reflect and not the physical features
    So when you find someone departing from proper human behavior
    Deal with them based on the animal characteristic that they favor
    So realize that the Amir, is the commander, the hunter and the Shepard
    When a man is rough and tough classify him with the family of the leopard
    So when you see the leopard appear
    Do not look for trouble fall back and keep clear

    When you find a man who is a thief stealing property and money
    Classify such person in the family of the monkey
    Such person lacks taqwa and the codes of honor modesty
    Avoid contention with him, stay alert and guard your property
    Oh Amir in this next example you will find
    The Man and Woman that destroys the reputation of mankind
    Classify such person in the family of the Canine
    It’s the characteristics of the dog to run away from those who stand their ground
    They are quick to harm those who leave them alone like a wretched hound
    Avoid contention with such a person when he attacks your good name and what you do
    And just regard them like a dog that is barking at you
    When you find a man who is contentious and likes to argue with a puffed up chest
    When you say yes he says no and when you say no he says yes
    Then classify him as a donkey is what we say
    Because it is the characteristic of the donkey to move away if you pull near and to draw near if you push away
    Make use of the donkey for what it is worth
    But don’t get rid of it or bother uttering a word of a curse
    Ya Amir the Muwatta has a warning for the next one we will describe
    They are ones that hunt the faults of people with their infected eyes
    This person belongs to the family of the flies
    In places that are unclean is where he or she lies
    Brush them off like a fly and pay them no more heed
    Every rose has its thorns but truly he is a weed

    If you are afflicted by a sultan or a leader who attacks people’s property and lives
    Then classify him in the category of the Lions Tribe
    Be on guard and flee for what he has in store
    No peace can exist in the face of the lions roar
    If you are afflicted by a man given to cunning and deceitful behavior
    Classify him in the family of the fox and leave him to his nature
    If you are afflicted by a slanderer who separates the brotherhood of man
    Classify such person in the family of the skunk whose wind no one can stand
    Just as people drive away this animal or move if it draws close
    The same treatment should be given to the slanderer if they ever try to approach
    And when you see man or woman whose ears are deaf to the words the wise speak
    Who flees from the gatherings of the learned whenever the inheritors teach
    But they love conversations of the dunya and believe in superstitious evil
    Caught up in the affairs of the lives of the common people
    Then classify such person in the family of the dung beetle
    Because they find delight and from feasting on human fecal
    When you meet a person with no shame who likes to snatch the things of this world that he sees with his eye
    Classify such man as a hawk who attacks from the sky
    His eyes are always fixed on his next robbery
    He does not have any honor so hide your property
    When you see a man hunting for the dunya that looks tender quietly laying his traps
    Hunting deposited wealth, the trust of widows and the wealth of orphans their parents left back
    Classify him as the wolf from a blood thirsty pack.

    When you see the wolf he is praying like he is the oppressed
    Acting like he is humble with his chin close to his chest
    And when you pass through he bows in ruku
    But realize that his prayers are different from the ones that you do
    If you listen carefully you can hear the prayer that the wolf has Callen
    Saying “My Lord how come my victim hasn’t fallen”
    If you find yourself afflicted by the frequent lies that a man has said
    Then classify him as someone who is already dead
    A dead man has absolutely nothing to say
    Then realize that you have to treat the liar in the same way.
    The Characteristics of the Ostrich is the traits of this man
    Who buries its eggs deep in the sand
    It takes one egg that it covers when it has its seat
    With another egg in the sand buried slightly beneath
    Realize that the other eggs are buried deep down below
    When an unexperienced man sees the first egg he grabs it and go
    Or he may just dig a little and find the other egg thinking he discovered a treasure for real
    But due to his lack of investigation the true reward remains unrevealed
    But the man of experience digs deep till he achieves his end
    Not being fooled by the first accounts like the unexperienced men
    Similarly, if you hear something from a liar do not believe it
    Either shun him or keeping searching him till his unmasking is completed

    When you meet a man who persistently adorns himself like a bride
    Always starring in mirrors, adjusting his turban and brushing his shoulders on his sides
    Constantly preening himself and showing off his look all day
    Classify him as the peacock and just stay away
    When you find a man who is malicious who never forgets minor mistakes
    Then in the family of the camel is where he is placed
    The errors of people he keep track of them on a list
    Avoid the company of such person and experience bliss
    When you meet a hypocrite keeping tucked when he reveals in the open
    Realize he belongs to the tribe of the of the street desert rodent
    His spot has two holes underground where he keeps cover
    He enters one whole then emerges from the other
    Turn away from such a man with his two face presentation
    And realize the hypocrites existed in the time of the first generation
    These types of behavior of men are many these are just a few
    So deal with them accordingly and you will have no trouble from them nor them from you

  5. What happened to MAN, Does anyone Know?

    هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا (

    48:28 He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the true way of life, that He may cause it to prevail over all other ways of life. And Allah suffices as a witness.

    Man once had a strong connection, vast intellect with deep reflection,
    Man made GOD CONSCIOUS decision not based on NATURAL SELECTION

    No theories, no worries, no scientific inquiries,
    Man was in harmony with creation not constant FURY

    Man respected MOTHER EARTH and rejected any search,
    That would damage her infrastructure and devalue her worth

    Man once understood his role and with this understanding he nurtured his SOUL,
    By obeying the commands of his Lord throughout the land he took care of creation with complete control

    Recycling was a Natural process, from the food they ate to their best dress,
    No plastic, paper or tin all of this was a human nature SIN, man only used what HIS LORD GAVE HIM

    MEN where MEN and a MAN was a MAN what they ate was captured by their bare hands,
    So where are these MEN that once walked and ruled this land, have their offspring integrated with the New World Plan.

    Man is now defined, by a different species and a different kind, one that works with his HANDS and not his mind,
    That primitive way of life has been left behind with remnants in the earth for those who wish to find

    A world where one doesn’t have to think just a flick of a button or a JINN EYE WINK there you have it your food and your drink,
    from voice chat to cyber space one can be hologramed into a far off place anywhere on earth or anywhere in space.

    Robot fighters and fluorescent lights that are Brighter
    Causing cancer and migraines driving mankind insane,

    Petro food and Petro blues Petro has made man shameless and lewd,
    CRUDE OIL dug deep from the soil placed in our food to preserve IT from SPOIL

    Taken from the VAST MOUNTAIN RANGE, VAST EARTHLY PLAINS,
    To a concrete jungle with noise pollution and fast car lanes

    Houses made from dirt, brick, bamboo and wooden floors,
    To bars on every window with bolted doors

    What happened to the MAN that controlled and respected the land,
    Has he forsaken the path of the MESSENGER and ABANDONED the QURAN?

    Has he left his responsibilities in the hands of the POWERS THAT BE,
    Thinking he is in the GREATEST of times and completely FREE?

    Or has he been trapped by the sly fox while he SLEPT,
    Only to awaken in SHAYTAAN’S FOOTSTEPS
    This enemy of man will never stop until man’s taken his last breath

    So what is the KEY for men to be FREE and return to the FITRA where he was CREATED to be,
    Pick up the GUIDE, the MERCY, the CRITERIA for MAN,
    In this BOOK he will find the PLAN laid out by his LORD to regain CONTROL of the LAND
    THIS CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN THE LIGHT OF THE QURAN

    When I return to my MOTHER earth I pray my words will live on,
    Inspiring the Old and the Young even those yet to be born,

    Revive the Soul and the BODY will be under a new CONTROL!

    وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلاَئِفَ الأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ (6:165)
    6:165 (Y. Ali) It is He Who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

  6. Polygany is the correct spelling of the word intended for Plural marriage with men having more than one wife….Polygamy is multiple spouses between both men and women.

    My Lord has HONOR me with POLYGANY,

    How dare you DISHONOR me with SECRECY,

    Placing me on the STATUS of a MISTRESS,

    Living lies and deception causing more distress,

    A man does not need the permission or acceptance of his wife to marry another!

    But once the marriage is COMPLETED he can not keep her undercover,

    Hoping that no one will ever discover treating her like a hidden lover,

    For she may also become his CHILDREN’S mother,

    Unfortunately the children are the main ones who SUFFER,

    Marriage gives honor and dignity not just to YOU and ME but to the offspring’s that come from this SACRED UNITY!

    But now they’re presumed to be BASTARD children from some separate and hidden ENTITY,

    Allah never intended for us hardship and strife when He sanctioned this as part of our way of life,

    This was never a part of my BELOVED NABI’S s.a.a.w.s. life, for the entire worlds knows he had more than one WIFE,

    So what, it goes against the corrupted norms of society,

    So does the IDEA of being a SLAVE to ALLAH and becoming FREE,

    Don’t be fooled or deceived POLYGANY is a form of MARRIAGE even in the WEST!

    No matter what they say ALLAH has given HUMANITY all the BEST!

    But in their eyes same sex marriages are BETTER than ALL THE REST

    The answer for A SURPLUS of WEALTH and FOOD is CHARITY,

    We’ve been given Prayer, Fasting and Forgiveness to ERASE ENORMITIES ,

    And Surplus of woman in any community have been blessed with POLYGANY,

    It is time for the Ummah to practice ISLAM in its entirety,

    Based upon the COMMANDMENTS of ALLAH and the Life of NABI so the world can see,

    POLYGANY is the only answer for all the MARITAL DISEASES plaguing HUMANITY!

    To all my brothers, please straightened that boned in the middle of your back,

    So you can stand straight and tall like a man with your DEEN IN TACT,

    To all the sisters contemplating on embracing this BENEFIT,

    Here’s one thing to take with you and don’t forget,

    Polygany is a form of Marriage that eradicates MISTRESSES and PROSTITUTION,

    A divine gift from ALLAH above as the only SOLUTION,

    There is no such thing as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th in the sight of ALLAH you all his CONSORTS!

    So if any brother desires YOU to be a part of his EXTENDED FAMILY,

  7. THE BEARD TO BE FEARED OR BE CHEERED!
    The road is DIFFICULT but hold on HELP IS NEAR!
    IT BROUGHT NOBILITY AND DIGNITY IT IS THE BEST IDENTITY
    It brought nobility and dignity
    the first time it occurred to me
    I was 14 years old when I first laid eyes
    and thought to myself this man must be wise
    I can’t deny I was taken aback
    by the mere fact
    he was young and he truly desired one
    I will give you a quick description
    to see if you can depict one
    It was long, black, silky, and shiny
    I was startled when I looked behind me
    But the oil scent that trailed it was overwhelming me
    When groomed I could see nothing but style and grace
    now understanding why this would be its chosen place,
    to stand out and represent an entire gender with its case
    I couldn’t understand why one would take the time
    to make many attempts to erase it from the mind
    or even make it hard to find
    The true essence of this blessing
    is no matter how hard one tries to eliminate
    it always returns in its original state,
    same place where it illuminates itself and its mate
    Besides its beauty it does have a divine duty
    unlike what we’ve seen portrayed on the news or in the movies
    Besides showing STRENGTH, COURAGE, POWER and MIGHT
    It has been put in a place where it is spotted on sight
    making it easy for us to tell
    and differentiate between the female and the male!
    The women must DEMAND its grace
    In order for it to return to its rightful place
    We must move in haste there’s no time to waste
    The enemy has devised a way for it to be permanently erased
    Because it doesn’t fit right with the skinny leg low riders jeans,
    the fags, homos and drag queens
    remember its purpose is to tell who’s really on who’s TEAM
    The GREATEST MEN that every walked this earth had one and COMMANDED that it be worn
    So I will continue to blow the horn until it is re-born even if some feel hurt or scorned
    How can I not stand up for such an HONOR when even our Mother Aisha a.s. found it something to be loved and ADORNED
    In closing I must say I love its graceful way
    How it fits with a smile and its changing style
    From colors of black, brown, red, grey and white, what a sight!!!
    From short to medium and some fluffy and long
    what a beautiful piece of STRENGTH to hold on
    but can be very SAD and HEARTBROKEN when you see it gone!

    I can see why they are trying to defame it, and for every DESPICABLE ACT they blame it.
    A MAN with a BEARD is like a LION who is FEARED!
    It signifies the RETURN of FITRA (NATURAL LIVING) around the GLOBE, as foretold in Prophecies of OLD.
    Understand there is a DIVINE plan,
    Truth prevailing over falsehood will be THE LAST STAND!

    The Mother of the Believers, ‘Aisha رضي الله عنها , said that the Prophet ρ said:
    عشرة من الفطرة : قص الشارب، وإعفاء اللحية، والسِّواك، ” :ρ قال رسول الله
    واستنشاق الماء، وقص الأظافر، وغسل البراجم، ونتف الإبط، وحلق العانة،
    وانتقاص الماء .”قال أحد الرواة :(ونسيت العاشرة إلا أن تكون المضمضة )

    “Ten are the acts of Fitrah: clipping the mustache, letting the beard grow, using
    as-Siwaak26, snuffing up water in the nose, cutting the nails, washing the finger
    joints, plucking the hair under the armpits, shaving the pubes, and cleaning one’s
    private parts with water. The narrator said, ‘I have forgotten the tenth, but it may
    have been rinsing the mouth.'”

    Washed in your tears, and shrouded in your love
    I descend to Earth’s embrace hoping to rise and see your face

  10. The Fuduye` Song
    I composed this song based upon the measure of the ‘Qaadiriyya Song’ which Shehu Uthman ibn Fuduye` originally composed in Fulbe`, and which his brother, Shaykh Abdullahi ibn Fuduye`, ‘arabized. The Shehu used to recite this song in order that Allah would show him the victory of Islam in the Bilad’s-Sudan. I composed it after sealing the Qur’an four times on the night of the 27th, the Night of Power of Ramadan, in the year 1407 A.H. (May 25th 1987), while I was in `itikaaf in the central mosque of the town of Maiurno; while in state of spiritual expansion, gratitude and tranquility. Then after the `Eid prayer I recited it to Shaykh Muhammad al-Amin ibn Adam al-Khateeb, who was very pleased with it and indicated that I should substitute the phrase ‘Uthman ibn Fuduye`’ with ‘Uthman Fuduye`’ based upon the measure of the original Qaadiriyya Song, in order to preserve the baraka of the original and transfer it to the Fuduye` Song. I made the number of its verses like the number of the years of our master the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace; and like the years of my master Shehu Muhy’d-Deen Uthman ibn Fuduye`, may Allah engulf him in His mercy, Amen…

    O Lord of the world of the hidden like the apparent
    Answer the one who supplicates You by means of Uthman Fuduye`
    The baraka of Ahmad in the lands of Allah have
    Become universal and abundant because of Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord O He who is very generous towards His servants
    Connect me, by means of Your generosity with Uthman Fuduye`
    Indeed the sinful usually seek refuge with the notables
    Therefore, I seek refuge with Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    If I have not done well, then my shaykh is one who does well
    Indeed I have spiritual affiliation with Uthman Fuduye`
    I do not deserve to be answered, yet answer me
    Because of my intermediacy to the spiritual ranks of Uthman Fuduye`
    Our belief, along with the Sunna in obedience
    Increase me in them by means of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    And disbelief, along with heresies and disobedience, from me
    Make them far by means of the abundant prestige of Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord increase me with beneficial sciences
    By the spiritual ranks of the one named Uthman Fuduye`
    Show me with Your religion conquering in these
    Lands from the spiritual ranks of Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord conceal my sins with Your concealment forever

    Protect me from the devils from both men and from
    Jinn by means of the prestige of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    And from the afflictions of this world and the Next, redeem me

    Make my affairs excellent in this life and the Next
    By the station of those who supplicate by means of Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord make easy for me every kind of hardship

    Death comes to me by the spiritual station of Uthman Fuduye`

    Show me, my God, the face of Ahmad, my refuge
    The best of mankind by the spiritual station of Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord regarding the Vision of Your Essence include me
    And answer my supplication by means of Uthman Fuduye`
    For he is my exemplar and my means to You O Lord
    Therefore accept me by the spiritual ranks of Uthman Fuduye`
    For he is the one who entered us into the Best of mankind- Ahmad
    Therefore grant me my desires by the station of Uthman Fuduye`
    He is the connection between Abd’l-Qaadir al-Jaylaani
    And me, therefore redeem me by means of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    Answer the supplications of our men and our women
    O Lord from the spiritual ranks of Uthman Fuduye`
    And the supplications of every believer who accepts
    My song, and our intercession with Uthman Fuduye`
    Answer the supplications of the author along with the scribe
    O Lord from the spiritual ranks of Uthman Fuduye`
    And the supplications of the one who memorizes it and recites it
    O Lord from the spiritual ranks of Uthman Fuduye`
    And the supplications of the one who hears it along with the one joyous
    With my song from the spiritual ranks of Uthman Fuduye`
    I am joyous, and joyous then joyous again because I am
    A disciple of the disciple of the disciples of Uthman Fuduye`
    He is the jurist Muhammad, known as al-Amin
    His light is from the lights of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord increase him in the lights of Your gnosis forever
    From the spiritual ranks of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    For he was the disciple of his father Adam al-Khateeb
    The descendent of the governors under Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord illuminate his final resting place forever

    And he was the disciple of Shaykh Musa, the Emigrant
    To the lands we were promised by Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    He was the disciple of `Ali ibn Abi Bakr, the Imam

    And he was the disciple of my master the Imam of the Awliyya
    The Sword of Truth the Spiritual Axis Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord by the rank of the chain of all these with You
    Show me some of the miracles of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    And the Amir’l-Mu’mineen, for he is my governor
    That is, Abu Bakr, from the descendents of Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord assist him and prolong his authority
    From the spiritual ranks of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    He is the son of Sultan Muhammad Tahir
    From the Remnant of the baraka of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    And he was the son of Sultan Muhammad Bello called
    MaiWurno, who made hijra with the Secrets of Uthman Fuduye`
    And he was the son of Sultan Muhammad Attahiru
    The Mujaahid with the Banner of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    And he was the son of Sultan Ahmad Atiku
    Who stood firm with the command of the one called Uthman Fuduye`
    He was the son of the Amir’l-Mu’mineen al-`Ateeq
    Abu Bakr, the Possessor of the Secrets of Uthman Fuduye`
    He was the son of the Amir’l-Mu’mineen, the Mujaddid
    And Light of the Age, that is our Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord be content with their spirits forever
    O Lord by means of Your contentment with Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    O Lord gather our Jama`at together with the Mahdi
    O Lord as You once promised to Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    My song was completed in Ramadan the Blessed
    From the miracles of the one named Uthman Fuduye`
    On the night of the twenty-seventh, so rejoice!
    And take intercession with the rank of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    The year shamz (constriction – 1407), though my spiritual state was in its opposite
    Due to the miracles of the one named Uthman Fuduye`
    In the lands of his hijra called Maiurno
    The land of the descendents and helpers of Uthman Fuduye`
    And blessings upon Muhammad, the master of the Messengers
    To the extent of the abundant sciences of Shehu Uthman Fuduye`
    The baraka of Ahmad in the lands of Allah have
    Become universal and abundant due to Uthman Fuduye`

      Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (1/153):
      It is not permissible to supplicate Allaah (du’aa’) by virtue of the Messenger of Allaah or by virtue of any of the Sahaabah or anyone else, or by the life of anyone, because acts of worship are tawqeefi (i.e., we must adhere to what is prescribed in the Qur’aan and Sunnah and not worship Allaah in any way except that which has been prescribed). Beseeching Allaah in the manner described (i.e., by means of Uthman Fuduye`) has not been prescribed by Allaah, rather He has commanded His slaves to beseech Him by His names and attributes, by believing in His Oneness, by having faith in Him, and by virtue of one’s righteous deeds – not by virtue of the status of So and so or by his life. So we must limit ourselves to that which Allaah has prescribed. Hence it is known that beseeching Allaah by virtue of the status or life of So and so is an innovation that has been introduced into Islam.

      A recommended scholar said: No one has the right to pride himself before Allaah on the righteousness of his forebears, for their righteousness is not part of his deeds for which he may deserve reward, as in the case of the three people in the cave. They did not beseech Allaah by the righteousness of their forebears, rather they beseeched Allaah by virtue of their own righteous deeds.
      We ask Allaah to make us steadfast in adhering to His religion and His sharee’ah until we meet Him…

      • In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful, may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad, his family and Companions and grant them peace. O Allah by the truth of Muhammad forgive me of my errors and accept my repentance.

        In depth knowledge about a thing is a blessing as the Book of Allah and the Sunna of His Messenger verify. A little knowledge about anything is dangerous and can lead to disbelief, because you will end up denying and objecting to something confirmed by the Book and the Sunna; and this in affect is disbelief.

        The Shehu said in his Najm ‘l-Ikhwaan, “Realize brothers that argumentation without knowledge causes the loss of much good and leads the ones arguing to invalidate a path from one of the paths of the shari`a… We have taken an oath that we would not open the door of argumentation without knowledge with anyone. Acting in that by the words of the Prophet, ‘No one argues about the religion except an infidel or an apostate in the religion.’ We qualified the blameworthiness of argumentation by our words, ‘without knowledge’ in order to exclude those who argue with knowledge about the religion of Allah `azza wa jalla. For that type of argumentation is obligatory. However, no servant attains the rank of knowledge and is called someone who can argue with knowledge except if he knows all of the paths of the shari`a. It says in the prophetic tradition, ‘Verily the shari`a came in three-hundred and thirteen paths. There is not a single path from among them which a servants takes except that by means of it his Lord will enter him into Paradise.’ this has been related by at-Tabrani and others. For if a person knows all of these paths and he sees a path which contradicts these paths, then he has the right to argue concerning it. However, if he is ignorant of even a single path, then it is not possible for him to enter into dispute or perhaps he will invalidate by his arguments one of the paths of the shari`a; or perhaps he refuses to act by it and loses much good. As a result he becomes counted among those who reject the shari`a.”

        Your shallow madh’hab and constricted methodology is the child of the so-called ‘modernist reform’ movements which have emerged in 19th century from between the horns of Satan in the Middle East, which maintain a rigid and strident approach to beliefs and the practice of the law. Your scholars look upon the common believers with contempt and assume that anyone who is not in conformity with your twisted view to be disbelievers. It is about your scholars that the Shehu said, “This is a time of tribulation and trials and there is no way of objecting to the affairs of the masses of the people by force and rough treatment, for that will lead to injury and destruction. Therefore, let the prominent scholars go there own way. If they are correct, then it is to their advantage; and if they are wrong, they will suffer the consequences. Whoever acquires knowledge in order to judge people by it with force and rough treatment will not rest, nor will people rest with him; and whoever acquires knowledge for its own sake, and in order to judge people by it with kindness and mercy, will rest and people will rest with him.”

        Now as for my evidence for making tawassul with the Messengers, the Angels, the awliyya, the scholars and the righteous among men and jinn, the divine, celestial and terrestrial realities; it is based upon the Infallible Book and the Infallible Sunna; but in order to save time I will cite a single prophetic tradition which I placed in poetic verse above and based upon the same chain of authority given above from my teacher Shaykh Muhammad al-Amin ibn Adam Kari`angha with his chain going back to Imam an-Nisaai’ in his as-Sunan as-Sughra in a sound prophetic tradition on the authority of `Uthman ibn Hunayf, who said: “Once an old blind man said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, supplicate Allah that He will remove the veil from my sight.’ He, the Prophet said ‘Go away and then make ablution. Then pray two rak`ats. Then say after them: ‘O Allah I ask You and I direct my soul to You by means of my Prophet Muhammad, the prophet of mercy. O Muhammad!’ I direct my soul by means of you to your Lord that He may remove the veil from my sight. O Allah let him intercede regarding me.” He (`Uthman ibn Hunayf), then said: “The old man returned and Allah removed the veil from his sight.”

        In this sound prophetic tradition, the Messenger of Allah first instructed the old man to go away from his presense. This is informative because he was told not to make the supplication in his presence. In other words he was absent (ghaaba) from the Messenger of Allah. Secondly, the Messenger of Allah ordered him to say: “…I ask You and I direct my soul to You by means of my Prophet Muhammad…”. Thirdly, the Messenger of Allah ordered him to say: “…O Muhammad!’ I direct my soul by means of you to your Lord …”. These two statements is tawassul in its absolute form and is diametrically opposed to what you claimed. Out of ignorance and fanaticism you inadvertently denied a confirmed Sunna practice. You denied a direct order of the Messenger of Allah and you made unlawful what the Messenger of Allah made permissible. You indirectly accused the Messenger of disbelief and commanding disbelief, because it was the Messenger of Allah who ordered the man to say in his supplication “by means of” and “O Muhammad”. Thus, your inkaar (objection) is in effect qawl’l-kufr (the words of disbelief). I will not go as far to say that you have become a disbeliever by ignorantly denying a confirmed Sunna that is not for me to say. But I will say that you are obligated to repent.

        Now for our other readers who happen to come upon this forum seeking genuine knowledge of Allah and His Messenger, I will explain the commentary upon the above cited prophetic tradition so that you will not be confused or dismayed regarding the meaning of his words; and that you may know with absolutely certainty that making tawassul with the Messengers, the Angels, the awliyya, the right acting scholars, the righteous believers among men and jinn, the divine, the celestial and terrestrial realities is not only permissible and lawful, but is also a highly recommended and commendable act.

        The above cited prophetic tradition from the as-Sunan as-Sughra of Imam an-Nisaai’ was also related by Imam at-Tirmidhi, Imam al-Hakim and Imam al-Bayhaqi, who verified its absolute soundness. Thus denying anything which has come to us from a sound path from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace is the opposite of sound faith and is disbelief.

        As for the narrator of the as-Sunan as-Sughra, he was Abu Abd’r-Rahman Ahmad ibn Shu`ayb ibn `Ali ibn Sinaan the Imam famous as the author of the as-Sunan as-Sughra. He died at the age of 88 in the year 303 A.H.

        Imam an-Nisaai’ related the prophetic tradition with his chain going back to on the authority of `Uthman ibn Hunayf, who was the brother of both `Ubaad and Sahl the sons of Wahb. He was thus a companion of Muhammad who had narrated many prophetic traditions from the prophet and from other senior Companions. Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal and the authors of the Sunan collections narrated upon his authority. he was appointed as the Amir over large area of Iraq as well as the Amir of the city of Basra. Thus, `Uthman ibn Hunayf was among the nobility who lived up until the time of Mu`awiyya.

        As for the meaning of the tradition that `Uthman ibn Hunayf transmitted, Imam Shihab’d-Deen Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn`Umar al-Khifaaji al-Misri said in his renown Naseem’r-Riyaad the commentary upon the Shifa of Qadi `Iyad who also narrated this prophetic tradition in the section of the miracles of the Messenger of Allah:

        “Once an old blind man…”; here no mention is made of the old man’s name. He “…said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, supplicate Allah that He will remove the veil from my sight…’ This means to supplicate for him that Allah may make his sight sound and remove the blindness from him. The old man used the phrase ‘kashaf’ (remove) which means to remove a covering (izaalat ‘l-ghitaa’). The phrase was used to indicate that the old man had either a haze which enveloped his eyes; a thin skin which he desired to have removed; or he used the phrase to make the lack of sight resemble a veil which came beteen him and what he desired to see. Thus his use of the phrase ‘kashaf’ (remove) with regard to his sight was a kind of metaphor.

        “He, the Prophet said…” as a command to him (amran lahu). “Go away” (antallaq) which means stand and leave this assembly. “…and then make ablution…” with the ritual ablution normally made for prayer. “Then pray two rak`ats…” as a superogatory prayer. “Then say after them: ‘O Allah I ask You…” which means I seek from You O Allah this particular need of mine. “…and I direct my soul to You…”; where the etymology of the word “at-tawajjahu” means to turn towards something with the face; or to face in that direction. It is an expression which indicates sincerity of objective in one’s supplication and to entreat by means of something (at-tawassul). “…by means of my Prophet…” in other narrations he said: “…by means of Your prophet…” making it a genetive noun construct. “…Muhammad, the prophet of mercy…” is a grammatical substitute for the phrase ‘Your prophet’; or it is a conjuncted phrase desigend to clarify and explain the phrase ‘Your prophet’.

        And then he alters the address from Allah and then directs his address to the Prophet in his supplication; because he, upon him be blessings and peace is the means (waasita) in everything which connects to what is spiritually excellent and to every divine overflowing (fayd ilaahi).

        “O Muhammad!’ I direct my soul by means of you to your Lord…” which means I make ‘tawassul’ (to entreat) by means of you in what I desire from Allah; which is: “…that He may remove the veil from my sight” i.e. remove the veil which prevents me from seeing. In this supplication the Messenger of Allah ordered the old man to call upon him by his name ‘Muhammad’ which would have been forbidden if he were in the his presence and it would have been unseemly for him to call on the Prophet in such a manner had not the Messenger of Allah said to him: “Then say O Allah” (to the end of the supplication); for as Ibn Hajr said the man following the command of the Prophet demonstrated the height of good courtesy.

        Some say that the prophet ordered him to call upon him by his name ‘Muhammad’ because it happened before Allah ta`ala revealed His words: “Do not call upon the Messenger of Allah among you the way some of you call upon others.” However, this is not clearly apparent. Rather he ordered the man to act contrary to this in his supplication because he supplicated away from the presence of the Prophet to himself. He ordered the man to do so as instructions and guidance to the rest of his Umma and as a form of humility and excellent courtesy with Allah. This prophetic tradition is from among the collections of sound narrations related by at-Tirmidhi, al-Hakim and others.

        `Uthman ibn Hunayf as well as his children used to teach this supplication to the people. And it was related regarding it that it is among the supplications guaranteed to be answered (du`a mustajaba) for the one who supplicates by it without hesitation. This supplication was also related by al-Burhan al-Halbi from enumerous paths of transmission and there is nothing doubtful or dubious about this prophetic tradition, so memorize it and utilize it.

        “O Allah let him intercede…” which means accept the intercession of the Prophet. “…regarding me”; it is concievable that he means regarding me by accepting his intercession in this life by returning my vision; or it is concievable that he means regarding me by accepting his intercession in the Hereafter. However, the foremost meaning embraces both interpolations. From this prophetic traditions it establishes the lawfulness of making supplication at the end or completion of the prayer.”

        All the above is what the wali of Allah Shihab’d-Deen al-Misri said about the meaning of this tradition in his commentary upon the Shifa of Qadi Iyad called Naseem’r-Riyaad; and what he said is priceless.

        I say: the remainder of the prophetic tradition establishes without a doubt that tawassul in the manner related by the Prophet is a guaranteed answered supplication (du`a mustajaab) by the words: “He (`Uthman ibn Hunayf), then said: “The old man returned and Allah removed the veil from his sight.”This means that `Uthman ibn Hunayf himself witnessed the man return after making the supplication and asking Allah by means of the Messenger of Allah and calling out to the Messenger of Allah directly by his words “Yaa Muhammad” and saw that by means of his supplication Allah ta`ala ,miraculously returned the old blind man’s sight to him.

        O Abu Ibrahim how can you deny such a miracle? Only disbelievers deny clear miracles of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. O Abu Ibrahim and those like you, repent to Allah and take on the entire Sunna of the Messenger of Allah. Take this supplication as a daily practice so that Allah can remove the veil of ignorance from your insight and give you clear insight (baseera) in your religion.

    Telling me to renounce my pleasures and passions just for a while
    Although I welcome her eternal beck and call
    There is just one thing that I can not relinquish at all
    I can fast from sweet potatoes and apple pie
    I can even forego salmon which is the apple of my eye
    The cool drink I can sacrifice all through the day
    But there is one pleasure that my soul cannot put away
    Not for a day a week a month not even for a short while
    It is the pleasure that my heart feels when it sees your smile
    The eyes can renounce the ‘shawtees’ and the long legs too
    My ears can do without slander lies and tails that are not so true
    My tongue can abandon all the above and even more
    In fact I can fast until I faint drop and hit the floor
    I can encounter the nights of Ramadhan with all the good it brings
    With remembrance prayer recitation standing and everything
    I can greet the Angels and Cherubim as they dance and sing
    Watching as the heavenly spirits glorify Him in their blessed ring
    With all these blessings divine gifts and much more
    Yet it is your love that causes me to knock on heavens door
    The night of Qadr announces forgiveness as it comes down
    And it brings with it mercy and tranquility for the whole year round
    With all of the good things that Ramadhan can guarantee
    And with all the spiritual blessings that fasting allows me to see
    Yet I cannot renounce those eyes that say – I want you
    And the truth is I cannot abstain – do without or fast from you
    I hope to end this blessed month wishing only for Allah to please
    Hoping for His mercy forgiveness and for His pardon to receive
    And while I hope from Him acceptance and a second chance
    I ask that He will bring you and I together in love’s embrace and romance
    True – no one knows when the blessed night of power will be
    Nor if Allah has written His mercy to descend and encirclement me
    But if I have a choice of blessings to request from Him this time
    It will be that He will make that ruby and jewel named wisdom be mine.

    I will end this poem asking for blessings upon the best of men.
    I mean by that the Light from which prophecy begins and ends
    Muhammad the father of the best woman of the Gardens of Firdaus
    make my suhuur and my futuur be the blessed smile of my Beloved Spouse.
